Makeup look #1

Hi guys this post Is going to be about a makeup look I have been loving recently. So this look is probably more suited to the night time, but I like wearing it in the day too. Some of the things are drugstore and others are not so I will try and give you some cheaper alternatives to the high end products.
FACE-
Bourjois healthy mix serum foundation, £10.99.
This is probably one of the more expensive foundations at the drugstore but is still fairly cheap, this is a recent purchase of mine eventhough I have only had it for a short amount of time I really do like the coverage and the Finnish. I will do a review of this soon.

LOREAL lumi magique highlighting pen, £8.49.
Again this us quite pricey for the drugstore but I really do like this it brings so much light and hi light underneath my eyes, well I guess it is supposed to do that anyway. It is not cakey underneath the eyes, from what I have found so far as this is a new product to me. I will do a review of this soon.

Sleek blush in suede, £4.99.
This is quite reasonably priced in my opinion because I think when brands like LOREAL and bourjois and Revlon are charging £7+ for blushes I think that is quite pricey for what they are, I suppose if they are amazing I would pay that but still. This is one of those blushes I love which does the job of slimming and shaping your face, it makes your face look more defined, the best kind of blushes in my opinion.

EYES-
Urban decay eyeshadow primer potion, £14.50.
I really love this as I have a problem with eyeshadows creasing on me, so this just saves the day and it really does make my eyeshadow stay on and is now a must have product of mine. I haven't tried any dupes for primer potions but a lot of people say the MUA one is good and that is only £2, so you could maybe try that if you wanted a cheaper option.

Rimmel eye trio in 624 lynx, £?
I got this trio from the poundshop, what a bargain aye. But I don't know where you can buy this, maybe eBay. I really do love the colours in this palette, I apple the purpley shade all over my lid and then the brown in my crease then the white in the corner of my eye to highlight.

Mac eyeshadow in espresso, £12
This is just what I use to fill in my eyebrows and if you are a longtime reader of my blog then you will know this. Mac is an expensive brand but I really do love this eyeshadow to fill in my brows and will be a product I will repurchase. I would recommend using any matte eyeshadow that is slightly lighter than your hair colour if you want natural brows, I would recommend the MUA undressed palette at £4 and it has a matte eyeshadow that blondes could use shade 3 and brunettes could use shade 5.

Bobbi brown gel eyeliner in 1 black ink, £17
This eyeliner is so creamy and easy to use as it is a gel eyeliner, but is very pricey at £17 but if you wanted a cheaper one I would recommend the maybelline one or the Revlon colourstay one. But if you wanted to treat yourself I would defiantly recommend this one. I just applied this with an angled eyeliner brush a similar to one I use for my brows, and just went straight across my eyelid right next to my eyelashes and created a slight wing ant the end as I personally prefer it to be winged. If you want any tips for winged eyeliner the best tip o can give you, well it's not really a tip is to watch YouTube tutorials and practice. Practice it when it is not important if you screw it up.

LOREAL telescopic mascara, £10.99
This is probably one of my favourite mascaras, but for this look I would recommend using any you have, this is not and essential product of the look. Don't get me wrong the look doesn't look right without mascara I'm just saying you just don't NEED this one to achieve the look.

LIPS-
Ysl rouge voulupté in shade 2 sensual silk, £23.50
This is a lovely lipstick which I love so much, I got it when I was in the airport going on holiday to cape verde. As it is a special lipstick I like to wear it on special occasions but sometimes I just feel like it goes which a look and this look it fit perfectly. For a cheaper alternative I would either try the Rimmel apocolip in nude eclipse this is similar but just nit quite as pink and this retails at £5.99 or I would suggest the MUA lipstick in the shade 14 bare this is very simalar I would actually say a dupe this retails at £1. I will do a comparison of these soon.

So as you can see this look is easy to achieve with little effort, excluding the eyeliner. But I really do love this look and I know I will be wearing it a lot in the upcoming months.

Thanks for reading xxxA
